Jonathan and Shelly: Photostory Day 1

OK time to blog!

Jonathan and Shelly have seen their pictures, actually they've already picked 100 to go in an album design! So between knowing the ones they love, and that I love, I'm going to share firstly just day one with you.

The first day of Jonathan and Shelly's wedding weekend was the Muslim feast. They were already accepted as married in the Muslim faith but this is always followed by a celebration of this kind.

I got there early because we planned to do photographs before everyone arrived.

This is the venue.

So Jonathan and Shelly came to this beautiful venue early to take some pictures because there wouldn't be chance later. The event was to be over by 5pm.

I love laughing pictures!

They love this next picture because it shows off the venue.

Then onto the grassy area where we were supposed to do the group shots too but that wasn't going to happen with what the weather did later!

Cheeky face!

Then Jonathan and Shelly hid at a friends house before the people started to arrive.

The grand entrance was done in a Bentley and then because the weather was still clear we grabbed a quick group shot!

Shelly really found it hard to do anything in her outfit. I love this next picture bringing humour to the struggle!

On to the feast and there's no alcohol allowed...

Then group shots which involved me standing in the rain with an umbrella being held over me (!) and everyone else staying in the dry on the steps! Here's the men having fun and a child getting wet!

After a large amount of group pictures most people left and we headed back in for the tea and cake we had missed!

I hope you like those but day two is many steps up on this. Somehow soon I will try and get my choices down to a sensible number to share the story of that day with you.

Oh and one week until I leave for Oz- yay!
