Welcome to Jonathan and Shelly's wedding day two and welcome to Styal Lodge!
This was to be the traditionally English part of the weekend however the combination or fusion of styles made this day still unique and beautiful. So I hope you enjoy these photographs.
Shelly got ready at the venue as there is a beautiful room to do so.
I love this next image.
The ceremony was performed in the middle of the room. Hard for a photographer but very involving for this important moment.
Jonathan was nervous before, but not after!
I love this image too.
A big improvement on the weather of the previous day- cocktails outside.
Love this too, Jonathan's Dad, Peter, is an amazing man.
And then I extracted the newly weds to take the photos they were so excited to have!
To get to the beauty spot you have to take a golf buggy!
And the hidden gem of Styal Lodge...
These pictures resulted in Shelly's dress getting a bit muddy- worth it though!
And then back to the drinks reception for group shots. Here is the bridal party showing the lovely mix of cultures.
And these are the boys that Jonathan sings with every so often! Can't remember which came up with this "brilliant" photo idea.
This is more like a brilliant photo idea. Everyone doing The Bolt, me standing on a scarily high ladder!
And just before we went in to eat the sun hit a better angle. Very important job as photographer to watch the skies. The plan was to try to come back out for sunset shots but that is often impossible. But these images are perfect.
OK onto our Malaysian feast!
Dessert was so nice!
Great speeches moments.
And of course everything did over run and we missed sunset but I still took the photo gap I was given!
Jonathan and Shelly really like the images with available light although there really wasn't much here!
And this shot would be the complete opposite of working with available light!
And then of course the boys performed.
More available light showing the atmosphere.
And finally the Blue Brothers shook their tail feather!
I tried my best to get my image choices down. Enough to tell the story!
I know a lot of people were waiting to see these images so I hope you were pleased and if you know Jonathan and Shelly they have another 500+ images I took you can see from the weekend.
