Family Photo Shoot: George, Eva and Antonia

I was lucky enough on Sunday to be booked for a family session with a friend I've known for a long time. The last time I photographed this family there was only two children so it was about time for an updated photo shoot!

I did this session my favourite way which is just me, my camera and a flash in your home. This means the children are more relaxed because they are familiar with the environment.

For this first series of images I had the children sat on top of the sofa to take advantage of the clean background.

Then time to included Mum in the pictures. This one shows the best group shot...

And then a chance for more fun on the beanbag!

Time for something a bit more classic with a chair.

And then time for three generations.

By now, as is normal, my models start to lose patience! So what I always do is plan a totally different setting just to get some different shots without getting frustrated. So on with hats, scarves and boots and out into the garden.

And I have since heard that the outside ones are the favourites so I will certainly continue with this approach!

Next week I start a job on Herm Island, it's not a photo job but I am certainly available for photo shoots in the evenings if you happen to be visiting, I hear it is full of families!
